It is with a heavy heart that we make this announcement. Due to heartbreaking losses among our axolotls during Hurricane Ian and significant changes in our family life, we have made the difficult decision to take a step back from axolotl breeding and close Gulf Coast Axolotls.

We would like to express how deeply grateful we are for all of our loyal customers who have supported us throughout the years. This was always a labor of love for us and a true family operation, but your shared passion for these incredible animals has been a driving force behind our business. We are truly thankful for the opportunity to share our love for axolotls with you.

This has been a very difficult decision for us, but we believe it is the right one given the circumstances. We cherish the connections we've made with each and every one of you, and we are grateful for the opportunity to have been part of your axolotl journey.
